OUR INTEREST AND GOALS
We provide our students with comprehensive professional, social, and personal competencies. In addition to professional qualifications, we also prepare them for academic qualifications ranging from the secondary school leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss) to the general higher education entrance certificate (Abitur). Our goal is to encourage our students to actively participate in and shape international developments in business and society.

The Sophie Scholl Vocational School is part of a network of schools in Marxloh/Hamborn that provides all children and young people north of Duisburg with the opportunity to realize their potential and participate in society, as well as develop career opportunities through education and training.

For us, effective school participation means designing lessons so that all students have access to learning opportunities that allow them to develop their potential in subject matter, methodology, and social areas. We provide individualized instruction by offering a differentiated approach in terms of time, scope, level, and support.
Learning together in diversity and developing an inclusive learning and school culture is enriching for all our students. At our vocational school, individuality is a lived norm. We capitalize on the diversity of our students to learn and address their diverse perspectives and needs.

Our primary goal is to provide all our students, with and without special educational needs, with educational and participation opportunities best suited to their needs.
